自然の移ろいを保存することをテーマに制作
現代において様々な物質の保存に用いられるアルミニウムを支持体とし、
油彩によって風景を描く

Currently enrolled in the Second Research Studio of Oil Painting Techniques and Materials, Tokyo University of the Arts.

Creating works themed on the preservation of transient moments in nature, using aluminium — a material widely employed in modern preservation — as the support, and depicting landscapes in oil.

「保存という行為は、時間の流れや変化から対象を隔離することを意味する。
私はその性質を絵画の中に引き寄せるため、工業的で均質なアルミニウムを支持体として選んでいる。
その平滑で反射的な画面は、外界から切り離された無菌室のように、風景を一時的に封じ込める場として機能する。

描く際には、出来事や物語性、装飾的要素を極力排除し、現象としての風景のみを画面に残すことを意識している。
それは自然を単に再現するためではなく、見せるために、そして美しく保存するための選択である。

アルミニウムと油彩が重なり合う画面には、固定された像でありながら、光や視点によって揺らぐ不安定さが生じる。
私はその揺らぎの中に、保存と変化が同時に存在する絵画の在り方を探っている。」

"Preservation is the act of isolating a subject from the flow of time and change. To bring that quality into painting, I choose industrially uniform aluminium as my support. Its smooth, reflective surface functions like a sterile room — sealed from the outside world — temporarily enclosing a landscape within.

In the act of painting, I consciously eliminate events, narratives, and decorative elements, leaving only the landscape as pure phenomenon. This is not simply a reproduction of nature, but a choice made to show it — and to preserve it beautifully.

On a surface where aluminium and oil paint overlap, a fixed image nonetheless holds an instability that shifts with light and viewpoint. Within that flickering, I seek a mode of painting in which preservation and change coexist."
